Plot
Acrylic and collage on panel, 8" x 8"
A strip of cream paper with the word PLOT set vertically runs down the left side of a deep navy ground. Next to it, fragments of a black-and-white printed image of a mouth are stacked and framed in pale blue, with a small orange-red rectangle placed over the lips.
A large, translucent red form that reads as a numeral overlaps the collage, and loose red lines spread across the dark background. The mix of printed text, image, and paint leaves the meaning open.
Fragments of text and image, layered into something unresolved.
