Perch
Mixed media on panel, 12" x 12"
A tall, thin green stem rises from a small base on the left, with a tiny bird perched at the very top. The image sits against a pale ground, in a narrow vertical panel.
The rest of the square is a deep, dark blue field, brushed in long vertical strokes. Next to that large mass, the stem and bird look especially small and precise.
Small and upright, against a wide dark field.
