Broken Heart
Mixed media on panel, 8" x 8"
A black heart sits at the lower right, its left half cut away so the layers beneath show through. A grid of small portrait photographs of Jackie Kennedy sits behind a wash of orange paint that leaves the faces partly hidden.
To the right, a column of handwritten script is crossed out in places. Blue and orange paint frames the whole composition.
