Inspired by a vintage Barbie poster and memories of my own childhood dolls, Barbie, Ken, and Midge, this painting reimagines an icon through layers of pink, black, and texture. Beneath the surface lies a quiet dialogue between strength and vulnerability, nostalgia and radiance. For me, it’s a way to honor those early symbols of imagination and to share the lingering magic of what we grew up believing.
