Blank Slate
Mixed media on panel, 8" x 8"
A strip of handwritten script, much of it crossed out, runs down the left side between two dark vertical bands. The older writing is partly legible, with lines struck through and words trailing off at the edge.
The right side is a wide, pale field of scraped paint with almost nothing on it. A thin yellow edge frames the whole panel.
What was written, and what's left open.
